Monday Motivation – 5/20/19

Life gets in our way sometimes. A friend is sick and you don’t know how to help or a close family member passes away and you don’t know what to say. These life situations can bring us down. We feel like we take two steps forward and one step back. We must first feel the emotions and then push past them. We must pick ourselves up and move on. Dig deep to find the motivation to continue to live life. Self motivation is well with in your control. What you say to yourself and how you respond to the world around you will effect your ability to move forward.

We must expel those negative thoughts…to do so, release your frustrations. Get rid of it! It serves no purpose. You should also know that you are not alone in your thoughts. Everyone has them… it is natural…we just need to work on passing through the negative thoughts. Another thing you can do is focus on what you can do. If you don’t know how to help a sick friend, ask, or maybe offer to bring lunch or dinner. By concentrating on what we can do, we can move forward doing something. Life is a journey. You will grow and learn if we have our eyes wide open…looking for those things we can do. Take action which serves a higher purpose. Get up and get moving. “If passion drives you, let reason hold the reins.” — Benjamin Franklin.
